Culture is the through-line of everything I write, whether I’m reviewing the latest food or wellness trend, or providing a fresh take on a hit TV show. I also interview experts, recommend the best products to buy, and test celebrity recipes. In addition to writing, I’m also an experienced editor, previously managing teams of 50+ blog writers for Girls Who Code and Day of the Girl-US.
I graduated summa cum laude from Hunter College, City University of New York with a BA in English. As a Mellon fellow at Hunter, I wrote an academic journal article about the representation of soul food in The Bluest Eye and its connection to the ‘Soul Era’ of the 1960s. The article was later published by Harvard University. In 2024, I was part of The Nosher’s first-ever cohort of food writing fellows.
